Shweta Tiwari is one of the most popular and highly talented actors in the Indian television industry. The Diva garnered a humongous fan following post her role in the popular television serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She won over the audience as Prerna Sharma Bajaj in the popular series.
Now, the actress joined us for the fourth episode of Cook-Off and in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Bubble host Nayandeep Rakshit opened up on her favourite comfort food.
Shweta Tiwari shared, “I love to eat dal-chawal and roti-sabzi. But Khichdi is my favourite food, my mother cooks it very well as she puts vegetables and everything in it. I like it to be a little soupy and if mummy made me eat khichdi the year-round I will do so. As I love enjoying it with a little butter and pickle. Along with Khichdi I also eat lots of salads, for salads you just have to pick lettuce tear it and put it in a bowl and eat.”

Further, the Bigg Boss contestant also revealed her cheat meals. Shweta Tiwari said, “For my cheat meals I eat burgers and pizza. I do not like bhindi.” Speaking about the healthy options she said, “I normally eat raw. Everything raw like fruits, vegetables, when I want to eat something healthy, I also eat mozzarella and dal but very less rice and roti. If at all I feel like eating roti I eat nachni roti, jowar, or bajra roti, but never roti made from wheat flour as I don’t like it and I am not even allowed to eat it. I love rice so when I feel like eating rice then I have brown rice. Everybody in my family eats brown rice. As we do not eat much of non-veg we usually have paneer with it.”
Shweta Tiwari even opened up on the reason she started working out and eating healthy. Shweta said, ” I started working out because of my back pain. Then my doctor suggested that if you are working out then eat healthily. As I eat healthily I don’t feel gassy or bloated, there are so many things that you have not experienced in life when you eat unhealthy food. So that is why I eat healthily, my daughter eats healthy, my parents my son all of us eat healthily. That is the reason even at times when we miss out on gym that never really affects us because we eat healthy.”
