prajakta koli netflix stree ming, mostly sane, prajakta koli

Netflix Stree-Ming has got these three amazing women who have reinvented the content space in the last few years. They are Prajakta Koli aka Mostly Sane, Kusha Kapila aka Billi Maasi and Rytasha Rathod aka the Sane Friend you need in life. In an exclusive chat with Bollywood Bubble’s host they have opened up on taking up content creation as a profession, family support, sexism, body-shaming and more.

Prajakta Koli is an Indian YouTuber known by her YouTube Channel Mostly sane. She spoke to Bollywood Bubble’s host, Nayandeep Rakshit about facing sexism and all about family support.

Prajakta Koli said, “I received ample support from my family as I grew up in a family where sexism was not something that I faced. I work with a team where it is not something that I have faced. I have had the pleasure of working on multiple projects with multiple teams that are just wonderful, extremely inclusive and extremely neutral. Where different people have come together and made beautiful content. There is change as we now have more female voices and I just can’t wait to see where it goes.

She further opened up on parental support and how her parents are the best thing that happened to her. She said. “With my parents, I did not have any issues with taking content creation as a profession. They could see how miserable I was when I was doing radio. I remember my parents telling me, “You don’t have to worry about groceries and other things. You are young so you do what you want to do as we both are here”. I asked them for a year but they said to take two or three to see where it goes. For me, at that point, the privilege and blessing were extremely important as I was in the lowest phase. I will be forever grateful for having the parents that I have, for I would not be here without them.”
