Before venturing into the film industry, Amit Sadh was a known face on the small screen. The handsome actor bagged his first major role in teen drama ‘Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr’ and later he went on to make his Bollywood debut with ‘Phoonk 2’.

Amit recently revealed that he was banned by the television industry for being outspoken. And it was then when he decided to venture into films. Read on to know the deets.

Revealing about what made him try his hands in the movies, Amit in an interview with Bollywood Hungama said, “I did not leave television to go to the movies. In television, they banned me. They called each other and said, ‘Isko kaam mat do. Then I said, ‘Oh? You won’t give me work here? Then I will do films.”

The ‘Kai Po Che’ actor went on to reveal that in his 20s he was like a rebellion always ready to fight for a cause. The talented actor furthermore shared that later in his career he decided to channel his anger and frustration into his craft. He met some good people who helped him in realizing the true purpose of his life. “Destiny never changes with money, but sometimes it turns by meeting good people too,” he said.

On the work front, Amit was last seen in the web series ‘Breathe: Into The Shadows’. He will be next seen in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s ‘Yaara’ and Anu Menon’s biographical drama ‘Shakuntala Devi’. Both films will be releasing on OTT platforms.
