Remo D’Souza’s wife Lizelle D’Souza is trending on the internet. The choreographer-director recently gave a huge shoutout to his wife for her inspiring weight loss transformation. Sharing her before and after photos, he wrote, “Awwwwww I love you u right it’s all in ur mind ….. wouldn’t be possible without u love and yes @_praveen_nair @maaheknair and yes my last few kgs and still pushing me the sweetest @nehaketo to keep motivating me.”
“It takes a lot of hard work to get there, but the biggest battle is with yourself and I have to see @lizelleremodsouza fighting that battle and achieving what was impossible I always use to say it’s your MIND, you have to make strong and Liz you DiD it so proud of you, you are stronger than me, you inspire me 🙂 love you.” And now, in an interview with ETimes, Lizelle shared about her diet and workout routine that she followed. Intermittent fasting and Keto diet
Intermittent fasting is an age-old method, however, it has regained its prominence recently. Many celebs such as Malaika Arora among others too follow this diet pattern. Lizelle too followed the same and also followed the Keto diet. She made sure to go off carbs and fasted for around 18-20 hours daily. Thanks to these two methods, she lost 15-20 kilos in the very first year. She also made sure to eat homemade food only.
Lizelle started weight training and saw a major change in her weight. She managed to create a gym set up at her home so that she could work out during lockdown. She also revealed that she made sure to take evening walks in her building compound.
She said, “As for my cheat days, everyone is scared about it because they are like a feast for me. I don’t binge on pizzas and burgers but I am more for chaat, paani-puri and sindhi kadhi. I also do a Keto cheat wherein I call for a Keto ice-cream or a Keto pizza.”
Her weight loss tips
Lizelle revealed that many people make a lot of mistakes by combining different types and strategies. “You cannot diet for three months and then leave, even though I had made the same mistakes, I know how to handle it now. And I think Keto works the best. It is high fat but my intake is through Greek yogurt, avocado and I drastically lost 8-9 kilos.”
Losing weight was a challenge
She explained how losing weight was a big challenge for her. She even thought of undergoing bariatric surgery and gastric balloon for weight loss, however, her friend suggested to not do the same. But she is planning for a tummy tuck and wants to lose around 10kgs more.
