Naam Shabana

Taapsee Pannu-starrer action-spy thriller ‘Naam Shabana‘ showed good growth at box office on its second day. The movie did a business of around Rs 6 crore nett on day two, taking the total 2-day collection to Rs 10.75 crore nett. That’s 25% more than the first day numbers. The numbers have been good in big metros like Mumbai, Delhi and Bangalore. In spite of Akshay Kumar’s starry presence in the movie, the mass pockets remain low, but Sunday numbers can prove to be useful for the movie which should have a good first weekend.

As per the budget of the movie, the numbers are pretty decent and considering the fact that it’s a woman-centric flick and that too a spin-off of a hit movie, the numbers look fine.

The Sunday numbers will be able to give us a clear idea as to where the movie stands. ‘Naam Shabana’ is directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia. Apart from Taapsee Pannu and Akshay Kumar, the movie stars Manoj Bajpayee, Anupam Kher and Prithviraj Sukumaran in important roles.
