This Friday, we had hoards of films making it to the theatres. The first war-at-sea film ‘The Ghazi Attack‘ clashed with the one that involved eloping and getting married, ‘Running Shaadi’. Giving them company was first eco-thriller film of Bollywood, ‘Irada’. Though the last two films had an average opening on day 1, they picked up pace on day 2. But still, ‘The Ghazi Attack’ is in the lead.
As per statistics, ‘The Ghazi Attack’ minted approximately Rs 2.25 crore at the box office. With this, the total collection of film stands at Rs 3.50 crore. Directed by Sankalp Reddy, the film stars Taapsee Pannu, Rana Daggubati, Atul Kulkarni and Kay Kay Menon in the lead.
Next in the line is Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh’s ‘Running Shaadi’. The film that an average opening of approximately Rs 10 lakh on day one, witnessed a good growth and collected approximately Rs 18-20 crore at the box office.
Following the same is ‘Irada’. Starring Arshad Warsi and Naseeruddin Shah, ‘Irada’ too collected approximately something between Rs 10 to Rs 20 crore on day 2 at the box office.
