Time and again, Vivek Oberoi keeps showing his humane side. After adopting an Andhra Pradesh village, he has now donated 25 flats to the families of CRPF martyrs, through his company Karrn Infrastucture Pvt. Ltd.
The company also sent out a letter to CRPF, announcing the flats for families of martyrs. According to reports, four flats have been alloted already and the rest are in process.
The martyrs belonged to the team of CRPF armymen who were battling the naxals at Bheji village in Sukna, Chhatisgarh on March 11. (Also Read: Huh? Riteish Deshmukh entered Vivek Oberoi’s house as a thief?)
This is not the first time that a Bollywood celebrity is coming forward to help families of martyrs. Another A-lister Akshay Kumar recently donated Rs 1.08 crore to 12 such CRPF families. He also suggested that a mobile app be developed to help those who want to contribute for the welfare of martyr’s families.
Vivek, on the professional front, is to be seen in ‘Bank Chor’ alongside Riteish Deshmukh and Rhea Chakraborty.
