Netflix, The girl on the train, parineeti chopra

Parineeti Chopra’s upcoming mystery thriller, The Girl On The Train (TGOTT), is all set to release on Netflix on February 26. Ahead of the film’s release, the makers of the film have unveiled the character posters of the Parineeti starrer.

In the recently released posters, we get to meet the terrific ensemble cast of The Girl On The Train. Helmed by Ribhu Dasgupta, the film also features Aditi Rao Hydari, Avinash Tiwary and Kriti Kulhari in a pivotal role.

Unveiling the character posters, Netflix tweeted,Just when we thought this train ride couldn’t get any better. Meet the cast of #TGOTT.”

TGOTT is based on British author Paula Hawkins’ popular 2015 debut novel of the same name. Parineeti is elated about the film and just can’t wait for the audience to watch it.

The makers of the mystery thriller had dropped its teaser on January 13. Parineeti looked fierce, broken, and menacing in the 20 seconds long teaser. If you haven’t watched the teaser yet, you can check it out below.

This is the second adaptation of Paula Hawkins’ novel. Previously a film was made on the same novel in 2016 starring Emily Blunt in the lead role. Obviously, fans are eager to know what new the Hindi adaptation has to offer to the viewers who have already watched the Emily starrer or read the novel.

Meanwhile, owing to the Coronavirus induced lockdown last year, Parineeti now has 5 films lined up for release in 2021. Yes apart from TGOTT, the actress has Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Saina and Animal in her kitty. Reportedly, she also has a yet to be announced YRF film lined up.
