Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, celebrated filmmaker Shekhar Kapur had said that he knew about the late actor’s pain. The filmmaker had even shared how some people let Sushant down so badly that he would weep on his shoulders.
Now the latest reports state that Kapur has sent his statement in connection with Sushant’s suicide to Mumbai Police via email. The reports also state that the director might be summoned by the Police to record his statement in person as well.
A day after Sushant’s death, Shekhar had tweeted, “I knew the pain you were going through. I knew the story of the people that let you down so bad that you would weep on my shoulder. I wish I was around the last 6 months. I wish you had reached out to me. What happened to you was their Karma. Not yours. #SushantSinghRajput(sic).”
