Bollywood superstar Salman Khan had recorded a festive Eid Number for his upcoming film Bajrangi Bhaijaan. The song that was to be attached to the end credits of the film has now been cut. Salman Khan’s father writer Salim Khan has asked the song to be remove from the movie. He feels that the seriousness of the climax is detracted by the peppy number ‘Aaj Ki Party’.
Director Kabir Khan said, “It’s a party song for Salman’s fans to enjoy and we ourselves were undecided about whether to incorporate it in the film’s narrative. We attached it to the end credits and that was the cut Salim saab saw. After the show, he told me that the greatness of the film is without the song.”
Kabir Khan added, “Only some romcoms and love stories can carry them off. I’ve seen some very good films destroyed by a song at the end. You spend two-hours creating a character who’s real and believable and, then, seeing him in garish clothes and dancing merrily destroys the vision.”
So Salman Khan fans who would like to see the song can view it, after it’s launch around 7.59 pm ISD on on Star Plus, Life OK, Channel V, Star Utsav, Star Jalsha, Star Movies, SMAC, Star World, FX, FX Crime, Star Sports 1/2/3/4 & Tseries YouTube Channel.
