Akshay nushrrat jacqueline isolation

The second wave of Coronavirus has taken the entire nation by storm. The spike in Covid cases is alarming. Recently several B-town celebs have also contracted the deadly virus. Akshay Kumar, who tested positive for Covid a few days back, got himself admitted as a precaution. The superstar was working on Ram Setu. After Akshay contracted the virus nearly 45 junior artistes working on the film also tested positive.

Now Akshay’s Ram Setu co-stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Nushrratt Bharuccha have isolated themselves as a precautionary measure.


Giving a sneak peek into her isolation, Nushrratt shared the following pic on her Instagram stories. She even urged her fans to take all the precautions and stay safe. Steam inhalation is what the actress is keeping herself busy with during her isolation.

The actress also shared a screenshot of a con call with her costars Jacqueline and Akshay. She captioned it as, ‘Checking up on each other! Far apart but together in spirit.’

A source close to Nushrrat told Indian Express, “Just when Nushrratt got to know that Akshay Kumar had tested positive, she immediately self-isolated herself. She is taking all the precautionary measures, as advised to her by the doctors, to keep best health for when the shoot resumes.”

According to ETimes report, Jacqueline has also self-isolated herself as a precautionary measure. The sultry actress is having homemade food sent by friends as she is under home quarantine.

On Sunday confirming that he has tested positive for Covid, Akshay Kumar had tweeted, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself.” 

Apart from Akshay, recently several other celebs like Govinda, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Seema Pahwa have contracted Covid-19.
