Rajinikanth‘s daughter Soundarya has opened up on the rumours of her separation from her industrialist husband Ashwin Ramkumar. There were reports stating that Soundarya has been going through a rough patch in her married life and is heading to the splistville. Now, there comes an official confirmation from the lady herself with a post on Twitter:
News about my marriage is true. We have been separated for over a year & divorce talks are on. I request all to respect my family’s privacy.

Soundarya is a graphic designer and a filmmaker. She married Ashwin in a grand wedding ceremony in the year 2010 that was attended by folks from the film industry, business and politics. They also have a one year old boy called Ved.
It has come as a shock to everyone that the couple is no more together. We just hope that they soon sort out their differences and reconcile.
