Rajkummar Rao in ‘Omerta’

After working on three projects, Rajkummar Rao and Hansal Mehta are back with their fourth association titled ‘Omerta’. Knowing about the sensibilities of filmmaker Mehta, actor Rajkummar Rao is all set to deliver yet another performance based on a real life character.

Ready for a theatrical release, recently the film was screened at the Hong Kong International Film Festival where Hansal Mehta felt overwhelmed after the screening was over. (Also Check: Omerta: Rajkummar Rao convinces as the antagonist on the new poster of the film)

The filmmaker opened up about this sharing, “I was asked a lot of questions that threw up several new interpretations of how the audience perceived the film. It’s definitely got me thinking. As a director, it’s fascinating to hear people speak of how they interpreted your vision.”

“The festival always attracts the best of global talent, and for ‘Omerta’ to represent India was a proud moment for everyone associated with the film. I am very happy that the audience appreciated the hard push against terrorism in the film and how it inspires to open dialogue into the matter,” added Hansal.
