Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif is the latest Bollywood star to be part of Madame Tussauds in London. The news was revealed by the Twitter account of Madame Tussaud. The actress was chosen after a poll that had Priyanka Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif in the running. The wax statue at Madame Tussauds is truly an achievement.
The tweet from the official site of Madame Tussauds said, “Katrina has collaborated closely with our sculptors and artists to decide a dancing pose and outfit for the figure, having given a sitting in Mumbai where all the measurements required to create an accurate likeness were gathered. A team of 20 artists will work on the figure, which will cost £150,000 to produce, and completion is scheduled for Spring 2015 when it is hoped Katrina will unveil the figure herself in London.”
Madame Tussauds already has a number of Bollywood celebrities. Among the stars whose wax works are already on display at the museum include Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, Salman Khan, Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor Khan and now Katrina Kaif.
