Karan Johar and Dharma Productions, today took to Twitter to share a teaser of their upcoming project. It will be Dharma’s first-ever action franchise film. Karan also wrote is his tweet that more details regarding the project will be revealed tomorrow, i.e on November 18.

The tweet read: “Dharma Productions is all set to announce their first ever action franchise film! Stay tuned, big announcement coming up tomorrow (sic)”. The teaser says that it will have a dashing face and it’s a ‘knockout story, the first of many in the franchise’.

The official Twitter handle of Dharma Productions also shared the teaser, and wrote, “Lights, camera and ACTION! Presenting Dharma Productions’ first ever action franchise film. Stay tuned, announcement coming up tomorrow (sic).”

As per a report in India Today, Sidharth Malhotra will headline the project.

Meanwhile, a report in News18.com states that Sidharth has started preparing for his role. A source revealed, “Sidharth has really loved the script and has been having multiple script narrations with the directors. Just like Shershaah, he wants to give a solid performance and is leaving no stone unturned. On Saturday, the actor was at Mehboob studios in Bandra for a look test. The actor was present for more than six hours and tried multiple looks for the role. He also performed a few scenes to get a hang of the character. It is out-and-out action film and Sidharth is taking keen interest in the project and wants to have a perfect look in the film.”

The teaser has created a lot of excitement and we are now eagerly waiting for tomorrow.

Coming back to Karan Johar, he had recently announced his directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
