The Mumbai police had conducted a forensic audit of the late actor’s bank accounts. The results have revealed how much Sushant spent on his girlfriend Rhea and her brother Showik.
According to ABP Live report, the audit report of the actor’s bank account revealed that he had a turn over of Rs 70 crore in the past five years. Mumbai police have submitted this audit report to CBI and ED, who have now taken over the case.
Enforcement Directorate (ED), which is also investigating the case for money laundering angle, suspects that a huge sum from SSR’s account was spent on Rhea and her family. Apparently, around Rs, 50 lakh were spent from Sushant’s account on Rhea and her brother Showik for their Europe trip, shopping, spas, hotel and ticket booking.
Sushant was financially stable and used to spend handsomely on his flat in Mumbai, bikes and expensive cars. He even spent crores on his manager, staff, travel and household expenses. The actor had invested around 5-7 crore as Fixed Deposits and filed an ITR of around Rs. 5 crores.
A vital thing as revealed by the audit report states that Sushant gave a huge amount of money to several production houses, agency and companies. ED is trying to investigate as to why the late actor gave money to these agencies and companies. They are also trying to figure if Rhea had any role to play in this.
Meanwhile, Sushant’s family had accused Rhea of transferring around 15 crores from his account into hers. ED is investigating all these accusations.
