Vistara Deepika Padukone

Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone has been roped in as the new brand ambassador of domestic airline company Vistara. The airline has thus become a first in appointing a Bollywood actor to promote it. With this initiative, they intend to make their airline a household name just like their parent company brands, Tata and Singapore Airlines.

The campaign will be reinterpreting the brand’s promise of ‘Fly the new feeling’, through the eyes of Deepika. It will showcase how Deepika feels the same wonder she felt with her first flight, every time she flies Vistara. The airline will be launching a new multimedia brand campaign along with its first TV commercial (TVC) that will be launched on Monday on TV channels across India. The integrated campaign will be deployed across multiple platforms.

Speaking about the campaign Deepika Padukone said, “It is a matter of great pride for me to be associated with Vistara, a brand that is reliable, warm and friendly; a brand that carries the lineage of Tata and Singapore Airlines… The new TVC aims to capture that feeling in a charming and evocative manner.”

On the career front, Deepika Padukone will soon start work on Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new historical project named ‘Padmavati’. The movie also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles.
