Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have wrapped up the final schedule of Ayan Mukerji’s directorial, Dharma Productions backed movie titled Brahmastra. The team of the upcoming movie made the announcement on Tuesday morning. Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji took to their Instagram to inform everyone about the latest update. The final shooting schedule of the much-awaited magnum opus movie was wrapped up in the spiritual capital of India- Kashi. Brahmastra is all set to launch in theatres on September 9, 2020.

Alia Bhatt on Instagram shared a video of Ranbir Kapoor and her. It seems to be taken in the River Ganga, during a song shoot. The actress shared another picture from the scene. She also posted a photo of Ranbir and her posing outside a temple with Ayan Mukerji.

The Brahmastra actress shared the photos and videos, and captioned it as, “We started shooting in 2018. And now … finally .. The filming of Brahmastra (Part One) comes to an end !! I’ve been wanting to say this for such a long time.. ITS A WRAP!!!!!!!! See you at the cinemas. 09.09.2022 (sic).

As Bhatt announced the wrap up of the upcoming movie, director Ayan Mukerji wrote, “And finally… It’s a Wrap! 5 years since we took our first shot on Brahmāstra, and we’ve finally filmed our last one! Absolutely incredible, challenging, once-in-a-lifetime journey!!!

He continued, “Some hand of destiny that we finished the shoot of ‘Part One: Shiva’ in Varanasi – a city infused with the spirit of Shiv Bhagwan, and that too at the most sacred Kashi Vishwanath Mandir, allowing us to finish in an atmosphere of purity, joy and blessings.” Ayan mentioned that he is awaiting the ‘exciting days ahead, last lap ahead’.
