Legendary singer, Bappi Lahiri left this world for his heavenly abode on February 15. He was 69. Bappi Lahiri passed away due to Obstructive Sleep Apnea. The singer breathed his last in Mumbai’s Criticare hospital. It was a few days ago that Bappi Lahiri’s family informed that they have organized a prayer meet in his remembrance. The prayer meet in the remembrance of Bappi Lahiri was to take place on Wednesday in Juhu.

The singer’s family gathered at the ISKON temple in Mumbai’s Juhu for the prayer meeting. The family of Bappi Lahiri attended the prayer meet. In the pictures from the location, the family was clicked at the prayer meet. Bappa Lahiri, his wife and kids, Rema Lahiri- Bappi Lahiri’s daughter, her husband and the late singer’s wife were spotted in attendance. The late singer’s daughter got emotional at the prayer meet as she remembered her late father. A heartbroken Rema was clicked with her family. The Lahiri family joined hands.

A paparazzo shared a video from the prayer meet on Instagram. The video features Shraddha Kapoor arriving at the location. The actress was joined by her mother Shivangi Kolhapure, and brother Siddhant Kapoor. They were filmed as they arrived for Bappi Lahiri’s prayer meet.

According to a report in ETimes, Bappi Lahiri’s family issued a statement and shared the details about the prayer meet. They invited the singer’s fans for the prayer meet that was scheduled to happen at the ISKCON Juhu temple. Meanwhile, Bappi Lahiri was known for his contribution to Indian music. He was popularly known as the ‘Disco King’ of Bollywood.
