Released in 2002, ‘Aankhen’ was one of the most iconic films of that year. Not just that, it remains one of the most praised films in Arjun Rampal’s career as well. After one and a half decade, a sequel of the film is coming out. But it will retain only two actors from the original cast.
When asked whether the sequel would star Akshay Kumar as well, Rampal said they wanted him on board but Akki was occupied with other films already. “we wanted, but Akshay is busy with his films”, he said.
The cast and crew will soon begin filming a few outstation sequences. The actors have been training pretty hard for the same!
“There is only one and half months left to start the shoot in South Africa. We will be doing some amazing stunts. So we are training hard for that,” the actor further added.
Apart from he and Big B, the film also features Ileana D’Cruz, Anil Kapoor and Arshad Warsi in pivotal roles.
