Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan will soon be seen in a biopic. Yes, the Shahenshah might soon be approached by Omung Kumar for the role of a Pakistani Lawyer in his upcoming biopic on Sarabjit Singh, in which Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is depicting the role of Dalbir Kaur, Sarabjit’s sister.
Sources said, apparently the ‘Mary Kom’ director is looking forward to cast Amitabh Bachchan in the role of the Pakistani lawyer who fights Sarabjit Singh’s case. The movie also has Aishwarya Rai depicting the role of Sarabjit Singh’s sister Dalbir Kaur, who had been fighting since long for his freedom.
Sarabjit Biopic deals with a real life story of how a sister fought for the release of her brother who was languishing in a Pakistani jail. Sarabjit was imprisoned after being convicted of terrorism by a Pakistani court. Dalbir fought for her brother’s release from the Lahore Jail, but her quest ended when he died in 2013 following a brutal attack by fellow prisoners.
The Sarabjit biopic has Randeep Hooda playing the role of Sarabjit Singh, Aishwarya Rai as his siter Dalbir Kaur. The movie is slated for a May 2016 release.
