akshay kumar and ananya panday to come together for karan johar's the untold story

If reports are to be believed, Ananya Panday is all set to share screen space for the first time with Akshay Kumar in Karan Johar’s upcoming film The Untold Story. The film is a biopic of lawyer and former President of the Indian National Congress, C Sankaran Nair.

While Akshay Kumar will be seen as the lawyer-activist in the film, Ananya will also play a pivotal role. Mid Day quoted a source saying, “Ananya will essay the role of a feisty junior lawyer in the film. She has yet to sign the dotted line, but word is that she has been finalised for the part.

The report further states that the film will be based on Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat’s book, The Case That Shook The Empire. Karan’s upcoming film is likely to go on after Akshay finishes his current shooting schedule for the Soorarai Pottru remake with Radhika Madan.

For the uninitiated, Karan had announced the film in June last year. He had tweeted, “Extremely excited and honoured to be bringing the untold story of C Sankaran Nair, a historic man to the big screens. Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi.

On the other hand, Ananya has interesting projects in her kitty. The actress will be seen in Liger with Vijay Deverakonda. She also has Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav. The actress recently attended the IIFA Awards in Abu Dhabi and made heads turn with her ravishing appearances on the green carpet. The actress also performed on stage.

Talking about Akshay, he is making headlines because of his recent released film, Samrat Prithviraj. Up next, Akshay has interesting projects in the pipeline. He will be in Mission Cinderella, Raksha Bandhan, Soorarai Pottru remake, Ram Setu, and Oh My God 2.
