Ahmed Khan Mr India

The moment ‘Mr India 2’ was announced, Shekhar Kapur who directed the original ‘Mr India’ lashed out at the makers of the trilogy for not asking him or mentioning the film to him. Also, Sonam Kapoor called out the makers of ‘Mr India’ remake for disrespecting both, her father Anil Kapoor and director Shekhar Kapur. Shekhar Kapur even said that Anil Kapoor was equally disturbed that he didn’t know about Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Mr India’ trilogy.

Many of you might not know this, but ‘Baaghi 3’ director Ahmed Khan was also part of ‘Mr India’. He was one of the child artistes. When asked about his opinion on the remake of ‘Mr India’, Ahmed told Mumbai Mirror, “I can still play the child actor, there is no major change in me apart from the fact that I have grown by three inches.” Further adding to it, “It’s an iconic film, but I don’t know how they will get the kids and the feel right.”

Ahmed Khan is currently neck-deep in work. He will also be directing Tiger Shroff’s ‘Heropanti 2’ that is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.

When asked if ‘Baaghi 4’ is also in the works, he said, “I would love for it to happen, but we will take a short gap between this film and the next this time.”
