Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor is at present in the United States for medical treatment, amidst rumours of him suffering from cancer. The actor recently shared a video where he is seen walking the streets of Manhattan with good friend Anupam Kher. In the video, Rishi Kapoor was seen sporting grey hair that left his fans concerned about his health. To dispel these fears, he soon shared the real reason behind his grey hair.

Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter on Tuesday and shared two photographs of himself sporting grey hair and revealed that it’s for an upcoming yet-to-be-titled film and nothing else.

In the first picture shared by the actor, he is seen getting his hair coloured. He wrote, “This is to dispel all notions and wrong speculations of my hair turning grey/white overnight. My hair was dyed by Awan Contractor for a film produced by Honey Trehan and Sony pictures directed by Hitesh Bhatia. The film is untitled. Trust this clears the air.”

The next picture that he shared was captioned as, “This is the final look of the film. Sharma ji. All grey! Will revert to original hair colour soon.”

On the personal front, Rishi Kapoor’s mother and the matriarch of Kapoor family, Krishna Raj Kapoor, breathed her last on October 1 and while the entire Kapoor clan was present at the funeral and the last rites, Rishi Kapoor, his wife Neetu Kapoor and his son Ranbir Kapoor were not in the country.

On the work front, Rishi Kapoor was last seen in ‘Manto’ that also featured Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a titular role.
