Two films old actress Disha Patani has finally landed a big ticket film in her kitty. Disha will be seen next in ‘Sultan’ director Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film ‘Bharat’.
According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, Disha will be playing a trapeze artist in a 1960s circus in ‘Bharat’. Zafar on casting Disha in his film was quoted saying in the report as, ” The pairing of Salman and Disha in a circus set-up in the ’60s is unusual and exciting. She is a promising star and for this character, we needed a girl who looked vulnerable and beautiful yet had the physicality of an athlete. Disha fit the bill perfectly” (Also read: Priyanka Chopra on ‘Bharat’: This one’s going to be out and out entertainment)
Disha is the second actress who has joined the star cast of ‘Bharat’ as Priyanka Chopra has already given her green signal for this film. This will be the first time when Disha will be working with Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra. An elated Disha shared, ” I’m excited to be a part of ‘Bharat’, it’s like a dream come true to get an opportunity to work with Salman sir and I can’t wait for the journey to begin. I am a big fan of Ali Abbas sir’s work.”
For her part in the film, Disha will be undergoing extensive training to develop the skills of a trapeze artist.
We think Disha will be apt to play a trapeze artist since we know how agile this pretty actress is. Don’t believe us? Then check out few interesting posts shared by Disha on Instagram:
