Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmaavat’ which was to release in December had to defer its release due to incessant controversies. The makers shifted their release to Republic Day weekend, when Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘PadMan’ and Sidharth Malhotra-starrer ‘Aiyaary’ were slated to release.

Later on, makers of ‘Aiyaary’ shifted the release date of their movie to Feb 9. Now, Akshay Kumar announced that he too would be postponing his movie’s release date to Feb 9, so as to provide ‘Padmaavat’ with a smooth release. This means that ‘PadMan’ and ‘Aiyaary’ will be clashing again. So, the makers of ‘Aiyaary’ posted a fun tweet that read, “Good to have you back! See you on 09.02.18.” Now, ‘PadMan’ makers have replied to this tweet, “.@aiyaary ke saath yaari to purani hai! See you on 09.02.18. ??”
